Join our luxury care home in Pontcanna, Cardiff, which provides exceptional Nursing and Residential care for up to 69 residents. Our home offers a refined, comfortable environment where personalised care and elegant living come together for both residents and staff.
We are seeking a creative, sociable, and well-organised Activities Coordinator who believes in making each day meaningful. This is more than just arranging entertainment—it is about enriching lives, encouraging independence, and ensuring every resident feels engaged and valued.

Experience working in a care home is not essential. We are looking for someone with a warm personality, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for making a difference.
What You Will DoIn this role, you will plan and deliver a varied monthly programme of group and one-to-one activities tailored to our residents’ interests and needs. You will encourage social interaction, help residents maintain their hobbies, and introduce new opportunities for engagement. By building strong relationships and understanding each resident’s background, you will create moments of joy and purpose. Accurate record-keeping of all activities is an important part of the role.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in planning or coordinating activities or events (care setting experience is a plus but not required)
- A confident, creative, and approachable personality
- A genuine interest in supporting older people and enhancing their quality of life
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and within a team
