Power Platform Developer

Salary: £37,000 to £45,000

VIQU have partnered with a leading organisation who are looking to employ a Power Platform Developer to help support and deliver a range of Microsoft Power Platform systems.

The ideal candidate will hold experience within a Power Apps development role, helping to implement Power Platforms into an organisation, be able to work well in a team of software developers, and work at a fast pace. This role required broad experience across Power Platform development, including Power Pages, Dataverse, Power Apps and Power Automate.

 Duties of the Power Platform Developer:

  • Establish requirements for new Power Platform solutions and enhancements.
  • Design, develop and deploy Power Platform services, ensuring adherence to governance.
  • Define team workload
  • Mentor and train team members/colleagues on the Power Platforms.
  • Guide users and other stakeholders on the most effective way to solve business problems when developing bespoke software applications.
  • Implement software, preventing disruption to service users.
  • Take part in user acceptance testing for system implementation, identifying bugs in the new solutions and implementing changes when required.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft PowerPlatform developments with the confidence to make decisions relating to the area of expertise.

Requirements of the Power Platform Developer:

  • Skilled in the development of digital solutions using a range of Microsoft PowerPlatform technologies and services (PowerPages, SharePoint, Microsoft Dataverse, PowerAutomate, PowerApps).
  • Experience of working in an agile development environment.
  • Experience of business process testing.
  • Ability to define and document project phases, as well as working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team and communicate effectively both individually and to groups.
