About the Role

We are recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated ALN Support Staff to join a welcoming federation of SEN schools. You’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs — helping them to learn, grow, and achieve their full potential.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students in the classroom and during wider school activities.
  • Assisting with personal care routines (full training provided).
  • Helping to implement individual education and care plans.
  • Promoting independence, confidence, and positive wellbeing.
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals.

Who We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience working with children or adults with additional learning or care needs.
  • Background in community care, support work, or personal assistance (PA roles) — your skills are highly transferable!
  • A positive, patient, and compassionate attitude.
  • Manual handling experience (training can be provided if needed).

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check (we can support you with this).
  • EWC registration (Education Workforce Council – support provided if required).
