SEN Teaching Assistant - Cardiff

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive Special Education Needs School located in Cardiff, Wales

Location: Cardiff
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance to pupils with a range of special educational needs. Your role will be vital in helping students access the curriculum, develop social skills, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting students with a variety of SEN including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties
Assisting with classroom activities and learning plans
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Working one-to-one or in small groups
Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and parents

What Were Looking For:
Experience working with children with SEN
A caring, patient, and resilient nature
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant Certificate) are desirable
