Job Title: Plumbing & Sprinkler Installer

Role Summary:

A well-established building services contractor is seeking a skilled Plumbing & Sprinkler Installer to support the delivery of both domestic and commercial projects across South Wales. The role will involve the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of plumbing and sprinkler systems across residential, commercial, and light industrial environments.

Key Duties:

      Install hot and cold water systems, sanitary ware, and drainage for domestic and commercial applications.

Install, maintain, and commission fire sprinkler systems to relevant UK standards including BS EN 12845 and BS 9251.

Carry out testing, flushing, and certification of systems.

Perform regular maintenance and fault-finding on sprinkler systems.

Interpret and work from technical drawings and method statements.

Conduct pressure testing and ensure installations meet all compliance requirements.

Liaise effectively with site teams, contractors, and other trades.

Adhere to site health & safety procedures, including completing RAMS where required.

Maintain tools, equipment, and materials to a high standard.

Independently identify and resolve any system faults during or after installation.

Requirements:

      NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent).

Minimum of 3 years' experience in fire sprinkler installations and maintenance.

Experience in general plumbing installations across various sectors.

CSCS card (required).

Additional certifications such as IPAF or PASMA (preferred).

Good knowledge of UK plumbing regulations and fire protection compliance.

Full UK driving licence (preferred).

Must be based in South Wales with flexibility to travel as needed.
