Automotive Technician
Location: Cardiff
Salary: 28,000 - 39,000 basic (dependent on experience & accreditation) + Bonus (annual value up to 18,000)
We're looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join a busy, well-equipped workshop. You'll complete servicing, repairs, and diagnostics to a high standard using modern tooling and manufacturer-approved processes. This role offers clear progression routes into senior and master technician pathways.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to manufacturer standards
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
Complete all work within health & safety and quality guidelines
Work collaboratively with Service Advisors and Workshop Control
Deliver excellent customer service through high-quality workmanship
Requirements
Relevant automotive qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience within a franchised or fast-paced workshop
VAG brand experience preferred but not essential
Full UK driving licence
