Sales Coordinator

Adecco is excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturing company who are an expert within their industry. This is a permanent, full-time position, working Monday to Friday. Our client is recruiting for a motivated Sales Coordinator to become part of their friendly and supportive team.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Sales Coordinator role primarily involves receiving project enquiries from customers and internal colleagues, logging them and passing them to the relevant department to progress. The role also involved producing quotations, processing sales orders and filing projects. You will look to identify opportunities and maintain customer relationships to maximise sales potential, champion business objectives and ensure strong focus on margin, volume and profit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To act as a link between the internal and external sales teams.
  • Manage existing accounts to achieve maximum business
  • Open new accounts and ensure they continue to develop profitably
  • Engage with customers face to face and over the phone
  • Accurately take and input orders onto the system
  • Providing quotes
  • Maximise add-on sales
  • To log enquires and pass them to relevant departments.
  • To identify target projects and architect / specifier orientated customers to co-ordinate and arrange CPD presentations.
  • Enhance existing business relationships and foster new relationships with specialist sub-contractors, main contractors, specialist consultants, architects, consultants and specifiers.
  • Report on a monthly basis detailing sales activity and achievements vs. targets
  • Ensure correct and full use of the company CRM system
  • Processing of Purchase orders on to SAP
  • Assist with the purchasing of non-standard stock items.
  • Liaise with the sales and warehouse teams and check to ensure appropriate stock levels are available for orders to go out
  • Monitoring of the shared sales email inbox to answer and follow up on customer queries.
  • Miscellaneous Administration tasks

Experience Required:

  • A customer focused background.
  • Ability to prioritise and understand Customer requirements.
  • Knowledge of SAP or K8 would be an advantage not essential
  • Experience in using Microsoft packages.
  • Experience in pricing and account management would be preferred.

Salary & Benefits

  • 24,000- 28,000 per annum
