HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER
Shifts: MONDAY - FRIDAY: START TIMES FROM 4.30AM - 7.00AM
Pay Rate: £14.50 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Carlisle, Cumbria. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Day to Day Duties:
- Driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently completing cage/palletised deliveries to retail stores throughout Northwest England/Scotland
- Conducting vehicle inspections and reporting any faults to management
- Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
- Drops vary dependant on runs approx. 3-6 drops
- You will undergo driving training and assessment on day one and buddy up with a core driver for 2 days
Essential Skills:
- Valid UK Category C Driving Licence
- At least 1 years' experience driving Class 2 Vehicles
- Similar experience in retail multi drop desirable
- Valid CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph card
- No more than six points for MINOR infringements
- No major endorsements
- Must undergo a DBS Check
Desirable Experience:
- Over one year's Class 2 Driving experience.
What training is provided?
- Driver Assessment and Driving Training on day one
- Followed by 2 days buddy up with a core driver to understand routes
