Job Title: Contract Manager - Food Hygiene
Location: Carlisle
Shift Pattern: Thursday to Monday, Day Shift (8 hours)

We're looking for a driven and experienced Contract Manager to lead the on-site Hygiene team at a busy food manufacturing site. You'll ensure the highest standards of cleaning and hygiene are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with company and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the hygiene team, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to standard.

  • Maintain and audit operational documentation, including cleaning schedules, risk assessments, and training records.

  • Oversee training and development of staff.

  • Conduct compliance audits and inspections to maintain hygiene standards.

  • Manage hours, authorise expenditure, and ensure smooth operation of all hygiene activities.

  • Support a flexible and adaptable approach to meet changing business needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience in food manufacturing, food hygiene, or FMCG environments.

  • Proven ability to manage large, high-volume teams.

  • Client-facing experience and strong communication skills.

  • Health & Safety knowledge and experience.

  • Experience with BRC and customer audits.

  • Desirable: Level 3 Food Safety qualification.

  • Confident in using Microsoft Office packages.
