Your new companyOur client, a market-leading, growing Group business based in Carlisle, has an opening for a professional Credit Controller to join them on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will oversee the Credit Control function, as well as assist with Finance Admin and management of their Cashbook. Your new roleWorking within a team of 6 and reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will:

  • Solely manage the Credit Control function
  • Chase debts via email and phone and escalate to legal proceedings as required
  • Report on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Assist with cashbook management
  • Assist with reconciliations of multiple bank accounts
  • Other administrative duties as required

Working hours: Monday-Friday (9am-5pm)

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Hands-on-approach
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to maintain effective internal and external working relationships
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to demonstrate detail behind the numbers

What you'll get in return

  • £29,000 per annum
  • Full-time role - office-based
  • 25 days annual leave + banks, incremental up to 10 years' service
  • Pension contributions 5% matched
