Job Description:
Driver Hire Carlisle is on the lookout for a skilled and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a fast-moving logistics operation in Carlisle. This is a 5-week contract to start, with a strong chance of being extended for the right candidate.
The Job:
Operating a Counterbalance FLT to move stock and keep things running smoothly
Loading and unloading trailers - you need to know your way around a tight space
Keeping the yard and warehouse in order
Supporting general operations and getting stuck in where needed
What You'll Need:
A valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (RTITB or ITSSAR)
Hands-on experience loading trailers - this isn't a training role
A solid grasp of health & safety
A strong work ethic - turn up on time, get the job done, and work well with the team
Hours & Pay:
Start time: 07:00, Monday to Friday (around 10-hour days)
13.00 per hour (PAYE)
14.57 per hour with advanced holiday pay
Paid weekly
