What you'll be doing:
- Lead and deliver a people strategy that aligns with business goals, culture, and values.
- Inspire and manage a dedicated People team, ensuring day-to-day operations support an engaged and high-performing workforce.
- Partner with senior leaders to implement initiatives that build a positive, inclusive, and progressive working environment.
- Champion recruitment, retention, and talent strategies, ensuring the business attracts and keeps the very best.
- Embed key initiatives including diversity, equity & inclusion, employee wellbeing, sustainability, and local community engagement.
- Drive impactful development through learning, performance management, and recognition programmes that genuinely engage people.
- Maintain compliance with employment law, policies, and HR best practices.
- Use people data and insights to inform decisions, spot trends, and proactively improve business performance.
- Manage the people budget, including forecasting and cost control.
Is this you?
- Proven success in a senior HRBP or People Manager role, ideally in a fast-paced or evolving environment.
- CIPD Level 7 qualified (or actively working towards).
- A commercially focused, solution-led approach with strong judgement and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and evolving HR practices.
- First-class interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
- Discretion, integrity, and a values-driven leadership style.
- Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Flexibility to travel to sites across the UK when needed.
