Project & Operations Administrator

Location: Carlisle
Hours: Monday-Friday (39 hours per week)
Salary: Up to 28,500 per annum (dependent on experience)

Adecco is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Project & Operations Administrator to join a busy operational team. This is a varied role where you will be the first point of contact at reception and support multiple departments. No two days will be the same, making this an ideal position for someone organised, flexible, and confident in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact at reception
  • Maintain and update project schedules
  • Track progress and prepare reports
  • Manage calls, visitors and mail
  • Provide admin support to managers and teams
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance and accommodation bookings
  • Collate and distribute timesheets, invoices and paperwork
  • Support multiple departments as required

Skills and Experience

  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Experience in project scheduling or resource planning (desirable)
  • Business administration qualification (desirable)

This is a full-time, office-based role with flexibility around working hours for the right candidate.
