Our client are looking for a Graduate Merchandiser to join their team. This position ensures that the right products are purchased, at the right time, for the right price and in the right quantities. This role will be responsible for managing relationships from both product supply and distribution and this is a varied, fast-paced role.

Job responsibilities

  • Providing analysis to shape product ranges.
  • Providing analysis for location performance and insights
  • Identifying trends and sharing data insights
  • Ensuring that product sizes and ratios meets customer needs
  • Optimising when products need to be delivered
  • Compiling pricing and promotional changes across departments
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure delivery and product quality
  • Compiling information for supplier deliveries
  • Working with distribution colleagues to ensure goods flow smoothly
  • Working to assist the stock allocation team at peak times of activity
  • Creating Purchase Orders

Ideal Candidate

  • Educated to degree level ideally.
  • Numerate and analytical
  • Motivated and willing to learn
  • Organised with a good eye for detail
  • Good communication skills
  • A good team player
  • Experience with Excel Spreadsheets would be ideal
