Are you a detail-driven payroll professional who thrives on autonomy? We're looking for an experienced Payroller to join a welcoming team in Carlisle, where you’ll be responsible for the full payroll process across a portfolio of varied clients.

?? What You’ll Be Doing:

  • End-to-end processing of client payrolls (weekly, fortnightly, monthly) to tight deadlines.
  • Managing your own client portfolio with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Liaising with clients, HMRC, and internal teams to resolve payroll queries.
  • Keeping payroll and CIS records updated and compliant.
  • Preparing and submitting CIS returns.

  • Payroll experience is essential—ideally in a bureau or multi-client environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based payroll software is preferred (Brightpay or similar).
  • Someone highly organised and capable of juggling priorities to meet deadlines.
  • A team player with a professional, client-focused approach.
