Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the lifecycle projects within a long-term healthcare contract. This role requires a hands-on leader to manage small-scale construction and maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager will take ownership of the full project lifecycle, from the initial client brief to project closeout, managing all aspects including site design, contractor coordination, financial oversight, and compliance with health & safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee mechanical, electrical, and fabric-related improvements within the facility.
  • Manage the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with healthcare industry standards (PFI experience is beneficial but not essential).
  • Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, and facility management teams to deliver efficient project execution.
  • Implement risk assessments, health & safety protocols, and quality assurance measures.
  • Ensure financial control, monitoring expenditures and ensuring cost efficiency throughout the project.
  • Provide progress updates and reports to senior management and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project and facilities management within mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong background in construction, refurbishment, and maintenance projects.
  • Ability to manage budgets, contractor relationships, and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of healthcare environments and associated regulations is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
