Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Carlisle
Salary: £150 - £220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Daily Supply, Long-Term
Passionate about numbers and shaping young minds? GSL Education are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maths Teacher to join a vibrant, dynamic school in Carlisle.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Maths to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring high-quality lessons that engage and challenge learners.
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Support students’ individual learning needs, adapting lessons as necessary to maximise progress.
- Assess and track students' progress, providing regular feedback and setting goals for improvement.
- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment with clear expectations.
- Collaborate with colleagues and attend staff meetings to contribute to the development of the department and school.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality education.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience working in a secondary school setting is desirable.
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
