The Role: Fabricator/Welder

As a Fabricator/Welder, your main duties will include:

• Fabricating and welding components using MIG welding techniques
• Working with mild and stainless steel, often in medium to heavy gauges
• Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
• Using a variety of hand and power tools to complete jobs to spec
• Manufacturing parts for industries including aerospace, energy, oil and gas

This role is ideal for someone who is used to working from technical drawings and understands the importance of precision and quality in metal fabrication.

 
About You

To be successful in this Fabricator/Welder role, you will need:

• Proven experience in fabrication and welding, particularly MIG welding
• Ability to read and work from technical engineering drawings
• Experience with medium to heavy gauge steel
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Good awareness of workshop safety practices

You may have worked under similar job titles such as Welder, MIG Welder, Steel Fabricator, Sheet Metal Worker, or Structural Welder. Whatever your background, if you're confident in your fabrication and welding abilities, we want to hear from you.
