Job Title: Conveyancing Solicitor (partnership potential) 

Location: Carluke (with occasional travel to other offices within Lanarkshire) 

Reed is currently recruiting an experienced Property Solicitor on behalf of one of their Lanarkshire based clients. The role would primarily involve managing a Residential Conveyancing caseload, but previous experience of Commercial Property work would be beneficial (not essential). 

This is a great opportunity to join one of Lanarkshire’s most recognisable legal firms and would be the ideal role for a Solicitor who’s looking for a challenging role where you can manage a busy conveyancing caseload and work closely with partners in a supportive environment. This is a key hire for the firm as it is part of their succession planning so there is a clear route to partnership with training and support provided from day 1 to help you prepare for a Partner level role.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage your own conveyancing caseload efficiently and effectively (primarily residential work but some Commercial Property cases)
  • Work closely with partners and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Meet deadlines while ensuring all clients receive an excellent level of service.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, providing them with timely updates and advice.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Solicitor with previous experience independently managing a residential conveyancing caseload
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Commercially minded with a flexible approach to work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong client relationships.
