Role Responsibilities
  • Managing a varied client portfolio, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
  • Preparing year-end accounts, management accounts, and VAT returns
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and offering mentorship
  • Acting as the first point of contact for client queries and building strong long-term relationships
  • Identifying opportunities to add value and support clients with ad hoc business advice
  • Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients when required
  • Supporting the implementation of cloud accounting solutions (Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)

Candidate Requirements
  • ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience (QBE)
  • A strong background working in practice (minimum 3-4 years preferred)
  • Experience managing your own portfolio of clients
  • Excellent knowledge of cloud accounting software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commercial mindset and proactive approach to client service
