Support Worker - Adults

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our client's team, providing care and support to adults with various needs. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others and assisting individuals in achieving greater independence and quality of life. This role can be undertaken either full or part time 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide daily support to adults with diverse needs, assisting with personal care, medication, and daily activities.
  • Develop and maintain respectful and constructive relationships with service users, helping to promote self-esteem and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Participate in the creation and implementation of care plans, tailored to the individual needs of each service user.
  • Assist in organizing and accompanying individuals on social outings and appointments.
  • Monitor and record the service users' progress and any changes in their condition, ensuring any concerns are communicated to the appropriate professionals.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for service users.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in a support worker role or similar, preferably within adult care.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
  • Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Enhanced DBS check will be required.
