Day-to-day of the role:- Provide daily support to adults with diverse needs, assisting with personal care, medication, and daily activities.
- Develop and maintain respectful and constructive relationships with service users, helping to promote self-esteem and independence.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Participate in the creation and implementation of care plans, tailored to the individual needs of each service user.
- Assist in organizing and accompanying individuals on social outings and appointments.
- Monitor and record the service users' progress and any changes in their condition, ensuring any concerns are communicated to the appropriate professionals.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for service users.
- Experience in a support worker role or similar, preferably within adult care.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Enhanced DBS check will be required.
