We are seeking an Exam Invigilator to oversee examinations in Carshalton. This role is ideal for candidates who are immediately available and possess a Reed DBS or enhanced DBS on the update service. Experience is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Ensure a calm environment to support the integrity and security of the examination process.
  • Set up examination venues by placing candidate numbers, booklets, examination papers, stationery, and equipment at desks in accordance with strict procedures.
  • Explain exam rules to candidates and ensure they are followed.
  • Supervise candidates during exams to prevent malpractice and ensure they adhere to the conditions of the exam.
  • Collect and securely store exam scripts and materials post-examination in accordance with regulations.
  • Assist with the start and finish of each exam session.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must possess a Reed DBS or enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Experience as an Exam Invigilator is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Good communication skills to interact with students and staff effectively.
