What You'll Do

  • Carry out safe and efficient maintenance, inspections, and routine work on Airbus A400M aircraft, following technical manuals and company procedures.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and replace components as needed, ensuring all work meets the highest health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, including defect rectification and daily operational checks, under both civilian and military supervision.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety policies.
  • Support the upkeep of the maintenance environment-vehicle checks, restocking consumables, tool control, and equipment care.
  • Contribute to ongoing team improvement initiatives and occasionally assist with workshop and support activities.
  • Stay up to date with required training and maintain your authorisation to work on A400M aircraft.

What We're Looking For

  • Recognised engineering apprenticeship and at least 3 years' experience maintaining operational aircraft, or an EASA Cat 'A' Licence.
  • Hands-on experience with commercial or military transport aircraft (line and base maintenance experience desirable).
  • Confident using technical manuals and documentation to complete maintenance tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Commitment to teamwork, continuous improvement, and upholding safety and quality standards.
  • Willingness to work at height and undertake all necessary training (including operating mobile working platforms).
  • Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (BPSS+; British nationals for SC clearance).
