Our client is a well-known and reputable transport company in Castle Donnington. Currently they are looking for and experienced HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic to join their busy workshop.
The candidate needs to have a minimum of 5 years experience (not including time-served at college) within this industry mainly working on HGV vehicles, they would prefer someone that has worked on all variants of vehicles rather than just one manufacture/ type of vehicles.
They would need to have the following:
- Good knowledge on using brake test machines
- Understanding the regulations/standards for brake tests
- Good understanding of MOT preparations for vehicles
- Good knowledge on using a diagnostics computer
- A wide variety of skills working on all types of vehicles
- Using a tablet system to complete inspection documentation
- Good working solo and as part of a team
- Good house keeping
- Good time keeping
- Enough personal tools to be able to cover all types of work
- Ideally live within a good distance from castle Donnington
Working hours/days Mon - Fri (7am - 5pm)
Every other Saturday (7am - 12pm)
