The position offers a pay rate of £13.01 per hour PAYE and requires weekend availability starting from 5am.
Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement, along with a valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
The role involves transporting palletised parcels, assisting with loading and unloading, and maintaining accurate paperwork.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Normanton area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours: Weekends - starts from 5am.

Pay Rate: £13.01 per hour PAYE

Location: Normanton WF6

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:

Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
Excellent communication skills.
A safety-first mindset.
