About the Role:

Reed Education is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Teacher to join one of our partner schools in Castleford. This role is perfect for a teacher who is versatile delivering across the primary phase, and looking to make a significant impact without the rigours of their own class. Your challenge in this role will be different; with strong focus on Foundation subjects, project work, tailored interventions with students with MLD, and ultimately providing continuity in the absence of the class teacher.

We’re looking for a teacher who:

  • Can build strong relationships with students they see intermittently throughout the week.

  • Has a strong knowledge of the national curriculum across the primary phase.

  • Works well in collaboration with other teachers, effectively and seamlessly handing over between lessons.

  • Makes effective use of Teaching Assistants and Support Staff in their classes.

  • Is adaptable to different students, needs and environments.

  • Has strong behaviour management skills, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
