We’re recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable manufacturing organisation for a Sales & Purchasing Administrator to join their team at their Castleford site. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable, well-established business where you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth sales and purchasing operations.
In this varied and busy position, you’ll provide administrative support to both the sales and purchasing functions, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities of the Sales & Purchasing Administrator include:

Entering customer and purchase orders directly onto the system

Processing order amendments and re-dating orders when needed
-
Regularly checking orders on the system to ensure prompt dispatch

Liaising with internal departments to ensure orders are dealt with quickly and accurately

Providing administrative support to the sales and purchasing teams

Handling customer and supplier enquiries for the department
Key Skills & Experience Required:

Previous experience in administration, sales admin, or purchasing admin is essential

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across departments

Organised, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Confident using Microsoft Office and business software systems
