Temporary Reconciliation Clerk

Overview:


Search are looking for a detail-oriented and methodical Reconciliation Clerk to work for a growing business in Garforth working alongside the finance and the supply chain team in Garforth. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of financial transactions and a passion for accuracy. You'll play a key role in focusing on stock reconciliation and discrepancies are resolved efficiently.

This is a temporary role for a 3-6 month period which offers hybrid working and to work within a supportive and collaborative team environment. This modern, attractive office is in a convenient location with free on-site parking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and focus on stock reconciliations
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to clarify and correct financial records
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date reconciliation logs

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a reconciliation or finance role
  • Strong attention to detail and analytic skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage would beb admirable)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines

This will be paid hourly equivalent to up to 27,000 depending on experience.
