Job Responsibilities:- Assist in the procurement process, sourcing materials and services for ongoing projects.
- Support the Purchasing Department in placing orders and managing supplier relationships.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations regarding procurement activities.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement best practices.
- Experience in procurement or purchasing within the Civil Engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in relevant procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
