The company in question are a family run business in which are quickly growing and are looking to recruit a experienced Civils biased Quantity Surveyor who has some experience on Earthworks, Substructure and Drainage projects to Join their team of Quantity Surveyors in their Castleford Office.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage project budgets and cost estimates
Monitor and report on project progress and expenditures
Perform value engineering exercises and cost control efforts
Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure project objectives are met
Conduct risk assessments and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
Prepare monthly financial reports and forecasts

Required Qualifications:

Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant field
Proven experience in civil engineering projects
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and practices
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Effective communication and negotiation skills
Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools

Salary:

Up to £60,000 (D.O.E)
Company Car/Car Allowance
