My client is a forward thinking, innovative Civil Engineering company that cover a multitude of disciplines such as Rail, House Building, Commercial and Industrial sectors. The company is a prominent presence within the civils sector and have a proven track record of delivering projects in London and the Home Counties.
With a Head Office in Caterham, Surrey, they are seeking an experienced Estimator that can work independently, and is capable of running several projects at once. This is a fast paced office based role, with the occasion travel to sites (as and when required).
Responsibilities:

Analyse project drawings and specifications to determine key requirements for all projects.

Liaise with key stakeholders to gather project scope.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for labour, materials and equipment.

Identify and implement cost-saving measures

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and their supply chain.

Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing.

Excellent communication and written skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and work independently
Proven experience in Civils is essential for this role.
This is a permanent position, offering a salaryof between 65-80k per annum (depending on experience), with additional benefits.
