What You'll Be Doing:

  • Well-being: Keep an eye on the well-being of students throughout the school day.
  • Adaptability: Tailor your communication and engagement techniques to suit individual student needs.
  • Feedback: Provide valuable feedback to teachers and parents on student progress and join in on meetings as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, especially in an SEN setting, is a big plus.
  • Understanding: A good grasp of the challenges faced by students with ASD.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Qualities: Patience, empathy, and a dedicated approach to student development.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs are advantageous.
