About the Role:We are currently seeking experienced CNC Turner or Milling Setter Operators to join a well-established precision engineering company based near Chard Junction. This is a permanent, full-time role offering competitive pay and stable day shifts.
Key Responsibilities:

Set and operate CNC turning or milling machines

Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
-
Monitor production and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency

Perform in-process checks using measuring equipment
-
Maintain cleanliness and safety of machines and work area

Work to tight tolerances and inspect finished components for accuracy
Requirements:

Proven experience setting and operating CNC turning or milling machines

Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools

Experience with Mazak or Fanuc controls is highly desirable

Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Knowledge of workshop health and safety standards
