Job Role: Kitchen Designer

Location: Chard, SomersetSalary: £30,000 - £32,000 PA (depending on experience) + generous and achievable bonus with expected OTE of £55-£60K PA

Working pattern: Monday to Friday and every other Saturday (when working a Saturday you will have a day off during the week so never more than 5 working days per week)

Working hours: 8.30am till 5.00pm on weekdays and 10am - 5pm when working a SaturdayBenefits & Perks:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Establish strong positive relationships with customers, understanding their needs, style preferences, and budget.
  • Design and Appliance Integration: Develop custom kitchen designs using industry-standard design software, incorporating suitable kitchen appliances for seamless integration.
  • Sales & Client Relations: Sell premium kitchen appliances alongside kitchen designs, demonstrating product features and aligning solutions with customer needs.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple kitchen projects from initial lead to design and installation, collaborating with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure all designs are accurately translated into orders, checking and double-checking everything is ordered and received correctly.
  • Creativity: Demonstrate your creativity and kitchen design ability, showcasing your portfolio of work with additional commentary on your design choices.

Who We Need:

  • Excellent Customer and Communication Skills: Ability to quickly establish strong positive relationships with customers and articulate design ideas effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage various products, codes, fittings, and cabinetry, ensuring accuracy in orders and installations.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines, with a proactive approach to finding solutions.
  • Creativity: Strong creative flair with the ability to demonstrate kitchen design ability.
  • Proactive and Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently using own initiative, as well as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a kitchen designer or interior designer with a track record of sales success and delighted customers.
  • Proficient in design software such as Winner or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of high-end kitchen appliance brands is desirable.
  • Skilled in Office 365.
  • Current clean driving license.

Additional Information:

  • Location is the showroom in Chard. This position is customer-facing, so remote work is not available.
  • Must be able to work alternate Saturdays, with a day off during the week.
  • Opportunity to learn and engage with customers in the showroom about both kitchens and appliances.
