Duties & Responsibilities
My client operates a beautiful venue in the heart of Somerset, popular for weddings and events as well as operating as an independent hotel and restaurant.
Working closely with the hotel owner, we are looking for an F&B/Wedding & Events led operator who can lead a large team to deliver seamless service and memorable events.
As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the commercial performance of the business ensuring financial KPI's are delivered, working closely with the sales and co-ordination teams.
With a large team of full and part-time staff reporting in, the Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient rostering and management of all departments with the support of a small management team.
This is a hands-on operational role providing management support across all areas of hotel service when required.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this position candidates will have a strong hospitality background from restaurants, food pubs or hotels with a good understanding of weddings & events.
You will be hands on in your approach, with a real love of the independent hotel / venue sector.
