Are you a trainee service engineer with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering, looking for a field-based role that offers flexible shifts, full internal training on machine tools and the exposure to external programming courses with Fanuc or Heidenhain?

In this role, you'll travel to customer sites across the South West to carry out preventive maintenance on CNC machines, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues. You will also calibrate machine controls to maintain peak performance and ensure reliable operation.

This role would suit a trainee service engineer with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering looking for a field based role with a company that provides full training and flexible shifts.

The Role:

• Conduct preventive maintenance on CNC machines at customer sites
• Diagnosing electrical, mechanical and pneumatic issues
• Calibration of machine controls
• Monday to Friday or Monday to Thursday shifts available - 40-hour week

The Person:

• Trainee field service engineer
• Mechanical or electrical engineering background
• Clean driving license
