Academics Rochester is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Chatham, currently seeking a Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, ideal for a qualified and enthusiastic teacher who thrives in a creative and child-led environment.
The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment
- Monitoring and assessing children's progress, ensuring every child has the best start to their learning journey
- Building strong relationships with children, staff, and parents alike
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent Early Years teaching qualification
- Has previous experience teaching in a nursery or Early Years setting
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Committed to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Confident, creative, and passionate about early childhood development
