Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist in the delivery of daily educational activities within a KS2 classroom setting.
  • Support the Class Teacher and Inclusion Manager in implementing lesson plans and inclusive education practices.
  • Engage with children to facilitate interactive learning and help meet the curriculum goals.
  • Monitor and support the progress of children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Prepare classroom materials and set up equipment necessary for daily activities.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.
  • Participate in staff development days and other training sessions as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification, or equivalent.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to workload.
  • Experience working in a KS2 environment is preferred.
  • Strong commitment to promoting equality and inclusion.
  • Sense of humour.
  • Experience working with children with SEND is advantageous.
