About the Role:
We're seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Operative to join our client's busy powder coating workshop. The successful candidate will support the preparation, coating, and finishing of metal components to a high standard, ensuring smooth production flow and quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and clean metal parts before coating (e.g., degreasing, masking, hanging parts).
Operate powder coating and curing equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring coatings meet specification.
Assist with loading/unloading materials and maintaining the production area.
Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
Work as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a manufacturing, coating, or paint-spraying environment is advantageous but not essential - full training can be provided.
Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Basic understanding of quality control processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
