About the Role:

We're seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Operative to join our client's busy powder coating workshop. The successful candidate will support the preparation, coating, and finishing of metal components to a high standard, ensuring smooth production flow and quality output.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and clean metal parts before coating (e.g., degreasing, masking, hanging parts).

  • Operate powder coating and curing equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring coatings meet specification.

  • Assist with loading/unloading materials and maintaining the production area.

  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.

  • Work as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.



Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, coating, or paint-spraying environment is advantageous but not essential - full training can be provided.

  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.

  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

  • Basic understanding of quality control processes.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
