We are seeking a highly motivated and inspirational Year 2 Teacher to join a vibrant school in Chatham, starting in September. Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective teaching lessons to Year 2 pupils, adhering to the Primary Curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of pupils.
- Implement inclusive teaching practices to cater to a diverse range of learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Participate in and contribute to staff meetings and professional development sessions.
- Foster a positive, creative, and stimulating classroom environment for pupils.
- Support the development of pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural skills.
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent.
- Qualified to teach in the UK.
- Sound knowledge and experience of the Primary Curriculum.
- Proven track record of improving pupil outcomes.
- Flexible and proactive approach to workload.
- Strong commitment to promoting equality and inclusion.
- Sense of humour.
- Experience working with children with SEND is advantageous.
