We are seeking a highly motivated and inspirational Year 3 Teacher to join a vibrant school in Chatham, starting in September. Under the direction of the Headteacher and Governing Body, the successful candidate will contribute to our commitment to improving pupil outcomes and promoting equality.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching lessons to Year 3 pupils, adhering to the Primary Curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of pupils.
  • Implement inclusive teaching practices to cater to a diverse range of learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
  • Participate in and contribute to staff meetings and professional development sessions.
  • Foster a positive, creative, and stimulating classroom environment for pupils.
  • Support the development of pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent.
  • Qualified to teach in the UK.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of the Primary Curriculum.
  • Proven track record of improving pupil outcomes.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to workload.
  • Strong commitment to promoting equality and inclusion.
  • Sense of humour.
  • Experience working with children with SEND is advantageous.
