Compliance Officer
Location: Chatham, ME4 6BB
Salary: 30,000-37,500+ Benefits
Hours: Mon-Fri , 9am-5pm

Join our client as a dedicated Compliance Officer, working alongside the Director and Ops Manager to shape and grow a crucial business function.

What you'll do as a Compliance officer:
- Stay ahead of HSE, ISO & COSHH regs
- Develop and update company policies
- Conduct audits, site inspections & risk assessments (RAMS) - One day per week on site
- Manage accreditations (e.g. CHAS, Safe Contractor)
- Deliver staff training on compliance & safety
- Lead investigations and ensure corrective actions
- Liaise with regulatory bodies
- Organise and maintain compliance documentation
Experience:
- Background in compliance, HSE, or environmental safety
- Great eye for detail and self-management
- Confident communicator and proactive mindset
- ISO and COSHH experience is a big plus!
