I am looking for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join the supportive and friendly team. This full-time position is designed to provide tailored support to a Year 6 student with an EHCP, helping them achieve their full potential in an inclusive and nurturing environment. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a significant impact in a child's educational journey.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide personalised support to a student with SEN, both within the classroom and in other school settings.
  • Assist in the implementation and adaptation of an individualised learning plan to meet the student's needs.
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and understanding relationship with the pupil, promoting their social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to the student's education and well-being.
  • Participate in training and development sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in SEN support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working with pupils with SEN in a school setting.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a dedicated interest in supporting the pupil’s educational and personal growth.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • A collaborative spirit, capable of working well in a team-oriented environment.
