Secondary SEN Teacher / SEMH

Location: Chatham
Contract: Full-time, temporary to permanent
Start Date: ASAP or December

We are seeking a resilient and committed SEN Teacher to join a supportive team working with pupils who present social, emotional and mental health needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.

The Role:

• Teach and engage vulnerable classes, including one particularly challenging group
• Deliver creative and engaging lessons to inspire learners
• Implement strong behaviour management strategies to support positive learning
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe, structured environment

Requirements:

• Experience teaching in Primary, Secondary or SEN settings
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Resilience, reliability, and adaptability are essential
• Open to ECTs and unqualified teachers with relevant experience
• SEMH experience highly desirable
