TIG Welder – Permanent, Full-TimeWe are working in partnership with a well-established and successful machine shop to recruit a skilled and versatile TIG Welder to join their growing business This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual with a strong background in TIG welding and metal fabrication.Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel
  • Fabricate and weld 3m3 waste boxes, storage and classing silos and assemblies to precise tolerances.
  • Grind and finish welds to achieve a clean and professional appearance.
  • Work accurately to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Assist in the development of new products, including basic jig and fixture fabrication.
  • Maintain excellent workmanship to meet industry standards.
  • Participate in both workshop-based and on-site welding projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in TIG welding, with a recent or current coding in TIG.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and the ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Background in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing work of the highest standard.
  • Level 3 welding apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (preferred).
