Our client is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will provide crucial support to the Senior Accountant, ensuring that accurate management accounts are produced in a timely manner. You'll be part of a dynamic team, working towards continual improvement and delivering high-quality service levels. This is an excellent opportunity for a part or fully qualified accountant with significant experience in a management accounting environment.

What you'll do:

As a Management Accountant, you will play an integral role in supporting all Management Accounting activities for a Group Division. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the month-end close process, ensuring ledgers are closed to strict deadlines, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of divisional accounts. You will also assist with the delivery of group service levels, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to driving a continual improvement mindset within your team.

* Support all Management Accounting activity for a Group Division

* Assist with month end close process, ensuring ledgers are closed to strict deadlines

* Ensure accuracy and integrity of divisional accounts, calculate and post relevant journals

* Capex accounting

* Assist with delivery of group service levels and support KPIs to internal and external customers

* Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

* Work towards driving a continual improvement mindset within your team and the wider finance team

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant role is a part qualified accountant with significant experience in a management accounting environment. You should have substantial experience within a General Ledger function and demonstrate leadership potential. Your ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations will be crucial in this role. Experience with ERP systems is preferred, along with intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Your ability to engage stakeholders effectively will ensure processes are executed consistently.
