Mortgage Case Manager

Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 (DOE) + Bonus

Location: Manchester Office

Mon - Friday - No Weekends

Consegna Talent are partner with an exclusive boutique, Independent Mortgage Broker in Manchester. Our client is looking for a Mortgage Case Manager to join the business following some recent internal progression. As a Mortgage Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the entire mortgage application process from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of mortgage products, exceptional communication skills, and a knack for detail. Equally, perfect for those looking to obtain the CeMAP qualification and progress their career in mortgages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the mortgage process.
  • Guide clients through the application process, answering questions and providing timely updates.
  • Collect and review necessary documentation from clients, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with underwriters, appraisers, and other relevant parties to facilitate the timely processing of applications.
  • Monitor loan progress and manage timelines to meet closing dates.
  • Verify client information and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and status updates.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues in the mortgage process.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members, including loan officers and underwriters, to ensure a smooth mortgage process.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in mortgage administration
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with mortgage products, lending criteria, and regulatory requirements.
  • Skills: Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • IT Proficiency: Competent in using mortgage processing software and MS Office applications.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting colleagues as needed.
