An opportunity has come available for a Geo-Environmental Engineer situated in the South Manchester region to join a small growing consultancy team within a remediation specialist.

As a Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will Join a team lead, helping to deliver complex brownfield development projects from investigation through to design and implementation.

The Geo-Environmental Engineer responsibilities include all aspects of ground investigation work along with preparing a variety of technical reports, such as Phase 1 and Phase 2 interpretations, remediation plans, risk assessments, geotechnical assessments, foundation recommendations, specifications, waste/material management, and validations.

You will then take your design to build and oversee the engineering on site - offering a whole life cycle experience.

Geo-Environmental Engineer Qualifications/Experience:

  • Honours degree in geology, engineering geology, geotechnics, geo-environmental engineering, or a related geo-science field.
  • Experience managing UK ground investigations, including logging and sampling.
  • Some reporting experience is expected across phase 1/2, but training will be provided.
  • Full UK driving licence.
