Role responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of clients across personal, corporate and business tax
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns and ensuring all compliance deadlines are met
- Assisting with tax planning projects including R&D, capital allowances, restructuring and succession planning
- Liaising with HMRC and handling enquiries and correspondence
- Supporting and supervising junior team members and reviewing their work
- Maintaining strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and advising clients accordingly

Candidate requirements
- ATT qualified or part-qualified CTA, ACA or ACCA with strong tax experience
- Proven background in a UK accountancy practice in both compliance and advisory
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in managing client relationships
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience supervising junior staff or supporting team development
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and enthusiasm for career progression
