Role responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of clients across personal, corporate and business tax
  • Preparing and reviewing tax returns and ensuring all compliance deadlines are met
  • Assisting with tax planning projects including R&D, capital allowances, restructuring and succession planning
  • Liaising with HMRC and handling enquiries and correspondence
  • Supporting and supervising junior team members and reviewing their work
  • Maintaining strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
  • Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and advising clients accordingly

Candidate requirements

  • ATT qualified or part-qualified CTA, ACA or ACCA with strong tax experience
  • Proven background in a UK accountancy practice in both compliance and advisory

  • Experience supervising junior staff or supporting team development
